Deb learns to drive a Horse and Buggy!

By Cassandra Gerrard on June 27th, 2014

Deb has been learning how to drive a horse and buggy with the help of the wonderful volunteers at the Riding for Disabled Association (RDA)! Here are some photos of Deb and the RDA volunteers (and the horses of course!) and some information about the program from the RDA website.

The RDA ‘Carriage Driving’ program gives those who are unable to mount a horse the opportunity to experience the fun and enjoyment of equestrian activities. Carriage Driving allows participants a feeling of independence which can increase their levels of self esteem and confidence (source: www.rda.org.au).
