By Sophy Jennings on June 24th, 2015

While the international day for yarnbombong has passed (11 June 2015). The coming together of fibre artists from around the world uniting, to bring colour and street art to communities everywhere is an inspiring idea. We at Connecting Skills Wonthaggi have decided that a yarnbombing episode in preparation for a much larger 2016 project is in order.

If you would like to join us in knitting/crocheting a colourful piece @ 50 stiches wide then we would love your contribution.

Knitted/Crocheted pieces can be delivered to the “dropbox” at Wonthaggi Site (64-80 Murrey Street building C) or to our “dropbox” at Reception, Head Office (323 Nepean Highway Frankston) by Friday 28 August 2015.

Stitching together of the individual pieces and the tree “yarnbombing” will occur on Wednesday 9 September 2015 at the Wonthaggi site from 10am, morning tea will be provided following the tree “yarnbombing”.

If you would like to participate in the stitching and bombing please complete the slip below and return to either our Head Office or Wonthaggi (as per above)
